🌐 Internet Application Course (Step-by-Step Guide) 📘

This course teaches students how to use the internet safely and effectively for communication, research, business, and daily activities.

🧭 Module 1: Introduction to the Internet

Step 1: Understand What the Internet Is Define the Internet (global network of computers) Difference between Internet and Web. HTTPS stands for hyper text transfer protocol secure, FTP stands for file transfer protocol like we use mobile phone and Bluetooth, URL stands for uniform resource  locator, IP stands Internet protocol, and TCP stands for transmission control protocol.

Step 2: Learn Basic Terms Browser (Chrome, Firefox) Website, URL, Homepage ISP (Internet Service Provider) 

Step 3: Connect to the Internet Wi-Fi connection Mobile data setup Basic troubleshooting (no connection issues) 

🌍 Module 2: Using Web Browsers 

Step 4: Open and Use a Browser Launch browser (Chrome, Edge) Enter a website address 

Step 5: Navigate Websites Use back, forward, refresh buttons Open multiple tabs 

Step 6: Bookmark Important Pages Save websites for easy access 

🔍 Module 3: Searching Information Online 

Step 7: Use Search Engines Use Google search Enter keywords properly 

Step 8: Improve Search Skills Use quotes for exact search Filter results (images, videos, news) 

Step 9: Evaluate Information Check reliable sources Avoid fake news and scams 

📧 Module 4: Email Communication 

Step 10: Create an Email Account Sign up (Gmail, Yahoo)
4.1 Select and click Create account command,
4.2 Select and type user particulars like; given and surname.
4.3 Select the email address type,
4.4 Select the email address back account and type that address,
4.5 Select and click finish to complete Create email address.

NB: This email address will be useful as other websites and applications account creation and will require this email address very much.
