Application of Learning styles Perception
In this report writing, I will write about the Principle of Management learning and study approaches notes which is about "How we learn." Every individual have his or her own way of learning. Observing or experiencing new things is a way of learning. The learning cycle suggests that learning happens when the person being trained has put into consideration or practice about things he or she learned. Under Learning Cycle, there's "Hands on Experience, Observation and Reflection, Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation.
On Tuesday we had lesson with Mr. Wamsi about “How we learn " , under Principle Of Management training and it really helps me understand more on this topic. Nevertheless there's is four stages of Learning Cycle:
1. Hands on Experience
2. Observation and Reflection
3. Abstract Conceptualization
4. Active Experimentation
While going through the four stages of Learning Cycle, I did figured out my own strengths and weaknesses. Even though learning is tough, I will still give my best because learning is more important than you think.
Learning Styles means we all have a preferred way of learning. The four types of learners are:
1. Activists
2. Reflectors
3. Theorists
4. Pragmatists
The theory of Learning Styles can be useful as once we recognize our preferred Learning Styles .The theory tells us that learning is “a permanent change in behavior that occurs as a result of an experience. The learning triangle: KSA, which stands for Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes also helps me figured out the importance of learning. Everyone approaches to learning which we may or may not recognize. The three approaches that are widely recognized are:
· Surface Learning
· Deep Learning
· Strategic Learning
To conclude, learning can be tough but in my opinion if you put most of your effort into learning, you will find it more interesting. Even though you finds it hard to understand a simple sentence or experiment or a word, just work patiently through it so that you will gain the experience. After gaining experiences, everything is simple and that's the most interesting part of learning when you learn new things. After having this lesson with Mr. Wamsi, and us student I am really happy and willing to learn more new things and not only under Principle of Management but other subjects as well. I am really appreciate to learn as much as I can.
